Sanctuary Magazine Issue 66 - February 2024 - Sizing Up Sustainable Homes

March 3rd, 2024

In this article in Sanctuary Magazine we discuss the sustainability of larger homes.

It is important that those building larger homes act to improve the sustainability of their projects.

And at the same time: that the architecture media in Australia show us examples of those sorts of projects.

Given their larger size and budget – larger homes have great potential to create a shift in the residential construction market.  Whether through demand, material pricing, or upskilling those of us in the industry through improved experience.

These projects can signal change to others: through the mixed media which publishes larger homes.

This can help ease the burden of transition toward sustainability for those on more modest budgets.

Our design for this project embraces the clients desire to retain the core of the original house on the site, while also providing them a modern, warm and comfortable home.
