We designed this generous luxury home, and master planned the site for our clients. The design focuses on improving the sustainability and comfort of the home, and life of the clients on the site

We designed a sustainable granny flat extension to a client’s home in Brisbane.
We are pleased to be included in Sanctuary Magazine Issue 35 in a special on Self Contained Studios / Granny Flats. Check out an extract of the article here, and see the Magazine for the full article.
We also have more information on this project on our website, here.
Sustainability aspects of the project included a large rendered strawbale wall to block western sun and proved a sheltered shaded area for the granny flat. This allowed better use of the site (an otherwise unused area on site). It also then allowed use of more lightweight recycled materials through the extension, while giving a light, modern, new feel to the renovation.
