Our Church Home Project featured in the first episode of ”My Impossible House” in August 2021.
The episode includes our clients project (under construction) and the completed renovation of another church into a home.
The episode focuses on our client’s journey on the project, with his family – and his love of bespoke materials and quirky solutions to design challenges.
Made as part of an 8 episode series by Windfall Films: the series is called Great British Home Restorations in the UK (the remainder of the projects are based in Europe and the UK.)
The project centres around the re-use and re-invention of a 100 year old rural church building into an inner city suburban home in Brisbane. The home features a mixture of sustainable design solutions and technologies, with the clients wish list of features for a unique family home.
The construction of the home is almost completed, in 2021.
This modern home design is currently under construction in Coorparoo. The core concept for this project: is the resurrection and transformation of a dilapidated timber church, into the core of a modern family home.
This modern home design functions as a co-house for 2 families or separate groups. It is being built slowly, evolving with the needs and budgets of the occupants over time.
