We were engaged to design this Burleigh Heads renovation.

This 2 bedroom townhouse is short stroll to the beach.  The owners want to enjoy the local amenities and be able to relax comfortably at home.

The older brick complex appeared tired and dated.  But beyond that the apartment inside had little in the way or personality.  It did not feel like it was anyone’s home.  Or, more to the point – felt like it could have been home to anyone, and anywhere.

The renovation underway reveals some of the character of the original building (brick walls, hardwood framing and the like).  It also upgrades some of the amenity (new bathrooms, stainless benchtops and the like).   While also introducing new personal touches which help this apartment feel like a home, for the owners. (hardwood joinery, specific lighting, ply ceilings)

The renovation of this townhouse at Burleigh Heads is completed, just in time for the owners to enjoy over the summer.
