This home design is based on our client’s detailed brief, for their vision of their home.

The character is reminiscent of traditional building types, while still a modern home design.  It includes strong and repeating gable roof form.  These define the 3 pavilions of the home which are linked with internal walks.  These form the entry to the home and a useful breezeway.

The pavilions hold the separate functions of the home as private, but interconnected.  They allow for entertaining in a living pavilion while maintaining privacy for rest or sleep in 1 of the 2 private bedroom pavilions.  1 bedroom pavilion is given over to kids or extended family and includes their own smaller living space.  The other forms a parents wing to the home.

The client has then furnished and landscaped the home design to compliment and re-enforce this Australian Homestead theme.  This included extensive use of recycled materials through the home.  The cabinetry to the home was also commissioned by the owners compliment the overall character.
